The 'Reviewed On' Date on a Program Card
The "reviewed on" date on a program card indicates the last time the program information was verified for accuracy. Programs are verified through a multi-step process involving both human support and automated technology.

How the "Reviewed On" Date is Updated
There are four primary ways that a program card can updated, each of which will refresh the "reviewed on" date:
- CBO Updates (Claimed Programs): Tens of thousands of Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) have claimed their program cards. When a CBO user updates their information directly, the date is refreshed.
- Suggested Edits: Any user on the Findhelp network can suggest an edit. Findhelp's curation team manually reviews every suggestion to ensure its accuracy before the update is published.
- Manual Reviews: Our internal team of curators conducts proactive, regular checks on programs to ensure high-quality data.
- Automated Review: We also use automated tools to scan our nationwide network and compare Findhelp data against a wide range of external sources.
How Automated Reviews Work
Our automated tools identify discrepancies, such as minor differences in program names or operating hours. To maintain data integrity, these alerts are categorized by risk:
| Alert Level | Action Taken | Date Update |
| Low-Risk | Minor discrepancies that do not impact service access. | The "Reviewed On" date is updated automatically. |
| High-Risk | Significant discrepancies that could impact accuracy. | The card is flagged for manual review by a curator before the date is updated. |
This tiered approach allows us to focus human expertise on critical updates while keeping the network's data fresh through technology.
