Searching for a Contracted Network Program
You will always start a program search from a seeker's profile. This will save it to their shared care history letting your team know what programs they have already been referred to. You can get into a seeker profile by completing an assessment if they are someone you have not helped before, or by clicking on their name from the People I'm Helping dashboard.

To start a referral from the seeker's profile, go to the Navigation History section and click on the "Start a Referral" button.
You will see this banner across the top that lets you know you are in the seeker's profile. It will contain their information. It will also pull their zip code from their profile information into your search.
Using a Keyword Search
The keyword search bar is perfect if you know exactly what you're looking for, like a specific program name or type of help. Just type in your keywords. You can also change the search area. Simply type a different zip code into the search bar and hit enter. The results will automatically update to show programs in that new location.
As you type in the keyword search bar, you'll see some suggestions pop up:
-
Tags: At the top, you'll see tags. Think of these as labels that help organize programs. Every program on Findhelp has tags that have been added to it. If you click on a tag that matches what you've typed, you'll see all programs linked to that specific tag.
-
Top Matches: Below the tags, you'll find top matches. These are specific programs that directly match your keyword search. Clicking on any of these will take you straight to that program's details.
You will be looking for a Contracted Network Program when you are using this workflow.
Using Categories
At the top of your screen, you'll see a toolbar with search categories, like "food" and "housing," all the way to "legal."
Every category has an array of subcategories. The number next to the category name indicates how many programs match that specific category
